We just released the expanded March 2026 edition of the Passenger Confessions Driver Survival Handbook.

This handbook was put together as a practical resource for rideshare and gig drivers who want to stay sharper, safer, and better prepared on the road. It covers topics like:

  • essential safety habits

  • de-escalation

  • scams and fake support calls

  • emergency response

  • dashcams and recording issues

  • insurance and legal coverage basics

  • mental health and resilience

  • quick-reference safety appendices

This is meant to be a general educational resource, not legal or medical advice. The goal is simple: help drivers stay aware, stay prepared, and get home safe at the end of the shift.

If you read it, I’d love to know:

What section is most useful?
What do you think should be added in a future update?

Here is the handbook:

If this helps you, feel free to share it with another driver.

Welcome to Passenger Confessions

Welcome to Passenger Confessions

From community-driven products to anonymous rideshare storytelling, it all starts with real experiences. Passenger Confessions is a safe place to express, laugh, reflect, and be heard. Your truth from the road is a rideshare stories thread where you can read funny stories, discover Uber driver secrets, and shop for products inspired by the road.

The rideshare stories thread is an anonymous space where both rideshare passengers and drivers share their real experiences, whether they are witty, emotional, surprising, or everything else. Every experience, including those that inspire a ride that shifts your perspective, is valuable, including those that inspire a quiet ride. Be heard, share everything freely, and enjoy the ride.
