DOYLESTOWN, PA—State police are warning elderly residents about a scam that involves ride-share services like Uber.

The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating crimes in which victims receive a phone call from someone pretending to be from their bank’s fraud department. The caller shares personal information to gain the trust of victims and claims that fraudulent charges have been made to their credit card.
