What’s the Weirdest Request a Passenger Ever Made?
Not dangerous, just strange.
Route requests, music choices, odd errands…what surprised you the most?

I once had a passenger ask if we could stop at a pet store because she wanted to buy a hamster before going home.
She told me her boyfriend had just broken up with her and she needed something to take care of.
We sat in the parking lot for about ten minutes while she tried to decide between two hamsters.
Pretty sure that was the only ride I ever finished where the passenger left with a new pet.
What is the strangest mid ride stop request you have ever had?

I once had someone ask if I could drive through a fast food drive-thru and then circle the block while they ate because they didn’t want to go home yet.
Not dangerous, just one of those rides where you realize people treat rideshare like a rolling living room.
Another day. Another ride. Another story.
Reading these makes me realize passengers probably ask drivers for some pretty random things without thinking about it.
As a passenger I always wonder if drivers remember certain rides for a long time or if everything just blends together after a while.
Just here for the backseat stories.
I once had a passenger ask if we could stop at a grocery store because he forgot to buy candles for a birthday cake. 🤣
@tacdriver That’s actually a great one. Rideshare ends up being part transportation, part life support system sometimes. I’ve had a few rides where you realize you’re witnessing someone trying to fix a bad day in real time. The candle run sounds like one of those moments.
