Once a passenger said “The Mall” and I thought they said “The Wall” (a local dive bar). What’s the funniest destination mix-up you’ve had?

Haha yeah, Ive had a few like that. Had someone say “Target” once and I thought they said “Bar Cart” and didnt realize it till we were halfway there. We both just stared at each other for a second and started laughing. At least it made the ride less awkward after that.

Another day. Another ride. Another story.

Love these 😂

It’s wild how one word can completely change the direction of a ride. Half the time it’s road noise, music, or just late-night brain fog. Has anyone ever caught the mix-up early and recovered smoothly…or did you just commit and see where it went? Keep them coming. These are the moments that make the job memorable.

I told my driver I forgot my jacket.  He was silent for the entire 10 minute ride.  Then, when I got out he looked at me, in the pooring rain, and said “I’m sorry ma’am, I thought you offered me to “jack-it”; I now see you meant you forgot your jacket.”  He gave me a ride back to my friends to get my jacket this time.  tipped him $10 bucks for the laugh hahah

Sometimes the GPS makes it even funnier.

I had a ride once where the GPS kept mispronouncing the street name and the passenger could not stop laughing the entire trip.

By the end of the ride we were both laughing every time the navigation spoke.

Anyone else have a street name the GPS completely butchers every time?

@so_cute_530

I once had a passenger say “Take me to Taco Hell.”

Took me a second before I realized they meant Taco Bell.

Another day. Another ride. Another story.
