About Passenger Confessions

Founder: Kevin Sorrels

Passenger Confessions, like many other community-based platforms, relies on users for their stories, and Kevin’s interest in community, digital storytelling, and human relations, inspired the creation of the platform.

Kevin understands the emotional aspects of a rideshare experience. Passengers often experience the ride as an emotional release or a safe space to share reflective thoughts. They may cry or express emotions and feelings that they do not share with anyone else outside of the ride. This understanding is the basis for Passenger Confessions.

Under Kevin’s direction, the platform has developed into an area where contributors can share anonymous rideshare stories, and engage with the documented real-life rideshare interactions of others. The platform has created a space for community connection built around the common experiences of rideshare transportation.

About Passenger Confessions

Every ride has a story. Whether it’s a quick trip to the airport or a late-night drive to a bar, each rideshare experience captures humor, honesty, vulnerability, and surprise. Passenger Confessions gives people the opportunity to share those stories, and allows the rideshare community to tell their story in a safe and anonymous manner. At Passenger Confessions, we share the stories that show the raw, unfiltered side of ridesharing. Whether you’re a driver or a passenger or you’ve never even been in a rideshare vehicle, there is a story for you. From funny rideshare stories and Uber passenger stories, to Uber driver confessions, Lyft driver stories, and the meaningful backseat stories that stay with you long after the trip ends. Online content often feels overly curated and not genuine. At the forefront of all of this noise is Passenger Confessions and their belief in the power of the truth. By sharing the emotional, awkward, and even difficult moments that occur in the back of rideshare vehicles, it helps people realize that they are not alone in those experiences. We are more than just a story sharing platform. Passenger Confessions has become a means of connection, expression, and insight into the mind of the gig economy driver. We advocate for safer rideshare experiences by presenting rideshare safety stories, driver tips and advice, and resources for passengers and drivers. We are more than a story-sharing site. We are a platform that connects, expresses, and educates people about gig economy drivers.
